WW1 Practice Trenches guided tour

A two-hour guided walk exploring the WW1 practice trenches dug by Oxfordshire soldiers in Wytham Woods over a century ago.

Hill End Centre leads a guided tour to the authentic practice trenches that Oxfordshire soldiers dug in Wytham Woods more than 100 years ago, offering insight into the soldiers' lives. The walk from Hill End takes 20–25 minutes and is uphill in places, so sturdy footwear is recommended. The event lasts two hours; visitors should bring their own hot drinks and snacks, and dogs are not permitted.
