A self-led family day of autumn woodland activities, crafts, campfire treats and bird demonstrations at Hill End Outdoor Education Centre.
A self-led family day at Hill End's 67-acre site during October half term, with nature crafts, spooky activities and campfire marshmallow toasting. Experts from the University of Oxford's Department of Biology will be present, with a hawk flying demonstration and talks on bird flight, vision and the wartime role of homing pigeons. Visitors can pre-order a hot lunch or bring a picnic, and free parking permits must be booked in advance. No dogs.
