About
A two-hour family bushcraft session at Hill End Outdoor Education Centre exploring seasonal woodland skills such as fire lighting, foraging and shelter building.
This monthly family session at Hill End Outdoor Education Centre teaches how to select and use natural materials to live sustainably in the woods. Activities may include foraging, camp cooking of breads and stews using stone-age 'no pot' methods, fire lighting and management, woodwork such as making butter knives, mallets and pot hangers, tracking and trapping, shelter building, and knots, basketry and cordage. The sessions change with the seasons and run for two hours.
