About
A contented Parisian lawyer whose idle fantasies of infidelity have never left the realm of daydream finds his marriage tested when a charming woman from his past reappears in his life.
Éric Rohmer's 1972 drama of temptation follows Frédéric, a married lawyer whose comfortable life with his wife Hélène is unsettled by the return of the free-spirited Chloé. Torn between impulse and devotion, he must weigh what he truly wants. Starring Bernard Verley and Zouzou, this intimate French romance closes Rohmer's celebrated 'Six Moral Tales' cycle with characteristic wit and restraint.
