How Hill Holly Orchard Tour and Wreath Making Workshop
About
A guided tour of the private How Hill Holly Orchard followed by a hands-on Christmas wreath-making workshop at Dairy Barns, with lunch included.
Guests arrive for coffee and cake with an introduction to the How Hill Holly Orchard, one of the largest collections of holly in the UK, created by the late Peter Boardman and now managed by his nephew Nick Coller. After a tour of the orchard, participants select holly and foliage to take back to Dairy Barns, where a home-prepared lunch precedes the wreath-making session. Wreaths are built on a moss base and decorated with local evergreen foliage, Christmas decorations and ribbon, with complete beginners welcome. Attendees should bring flower scissors or pruners and practical footwear; pre-booking is essential.
