Gamlingay Repair Cafe

A free volunteer-run repair cafe where people bring broken household items to be diagnosed and fixed on the spot.

Gamlingay Repair Cafe hosts its fifth repair cafe at the Eco Hub, where volunteer repairers diagnose and fix broken items such as toasters, kettles, lamps, clothes, bags and computers, or advise on spare parts. Electrical items are PAT tested before you leave, and tea, coffee, cake and biscuits are available while you wait. Visitors without an item to repair are welcome too, with children's activities on offer. The group has previously fixed 105 of 139 items brought along, saving over 2,300kg of CO2.
