Indigo Stitched Shibori - scarf or tote bag

A full-day stitched-resist shibori workshop with textile and natural-dye artist Sam Jones, making an indigo scarf or tote bag.

Textile and natural-dye artist Sam Jones leads a full-day workshop using running stitch and stitched-resist shibori before dyeing fabric in indigo. Participants make an organic cotton scarf or tote bag and take home samples; materials are supplied. Please bring an apron, rubber gloves, a notebook and pen, a packed lunch and a plastic bag for wet work. A camera or phone and small lightweight cotton or linen items can also be brought.
