About
Exhibition curator Caroline de Guitaut discusses the design, embroidery and symbolism of Queen Elizabeth II’s wedding dress.
The lecture follows the creation of Norman Hartnell’s 1947 gown and its post-war context, drawing on research connected with the current exhibition. The detail page distinguishes this in-person lecture on 18 November from a separate online lecture on 17 November.
