Frame Basket Making Class

Monica Heeran guides participants in weaving a ribbed gathering basket from natural willow.

Participants work with ethically sourced willow to make a full ribbed gathering basket in one session. The class is beginner-friendly and also suits people who have tried basket making before; tools and materials are supplied, and the pace is relaxed. The source notes that weaving requires strength in the hands and arms. Monica Heeran is the named practitioner.
