A one-day introduction to weaving cane into a chair seat, taught on sample frames by experienced caner Netty Erw.
The class covers the stages of creating a decorative and resilient cane seat, from weaving through finishing. Participants practise on supplied sample frames and take away a reference sample and template rather than a completed chair.
