York Poet’s Corner

A monthly poetry social featuring structured talks and workshops with a feature poet, this month Nicky Kippax, plus time to socialise with other creatives.

York Poet’s Corner is a gathering for people to socialise and share the craft of poetry, combining structured talks and workshops with a featured poet each month, followed by socialising with like-minded creatives. The October session features poet Nicky Kippax, a Word Up North New Northern Poet (2026) and Northern Writers’ Award winner (2022), whose work appears in The London Magazine, PN Review and The Rialto. The evening is hosted by SPARK Studios’ Becca Drake and Chloe Hanks and runs from 7pm to 9pm.
