Art Trail, London Galleries and Museums
About
A 12-week Friday course visiting London galleries and museums to discuss contemporary and 20th-century art exhibitions with tutor Anthony Palmer.
This 12-week course meets weekly in various public galleries, museums and exhibition spaces across London, with the first session held at Mary Ward Centre for an induction and lecture on a current theme in contemporary art. Each week participants visit a different exhibition, combining short talks on artists and themes with facilitated group discussion covering painting, sculpture, drawing, installation, photography and film. No prior knowledge of art is required, and most exhibitions are free to enter, though occasional entry charges may apply.
