Digital Photography - Saturdays

A three-week Saturday course at Mary Ward Centre Stratford teaching camera control, composition and photo editing with tutor Anthony Palmer.

This practice-led short course runs over three Saturday sessions and is designed to build confidence with a digital camera or smartphone. Topics include lenses, metering and the exposure triangle, aperture and shutter priority, depth of field, composition, and options for storing, editing and sharing photos. Students finish by creating a themed portfolio and can progress to longer photography courses at the centre.
