The English Concert performs Bach's St Matthew Passion under Harry Bicket at Garsington Studios to mark the work's 300th anniversary.

Garsington Opera's period-instrument partner orchestra, The English Concert, performs Bach's St Matthew Passion BWV 244 conducted by its Artistic Director Harry Bicket, celebrating the work's 300th anniversary year. The oratorio sets chapters 26 and 27 of the Gospel of St Matthew, recounting the last days of Christ's life. The concert includes a 20-minute interval, and an optional buffet supper follows afterwards in the café, though the supper is now fully booked. Soloists are yet to be announced.
