Steven Isserlis & Connie Shih

Cellist Steven Isserlis and pianist Connie Shih give a recital at Garsington Studios with works by Beethoven, Mel Bonis and Schumann.

Garsington Opera's Concert Series, in association with Wigmore Hall, welcomes cellist Steven Isserlis and pianist Connie Shih for their first appearance at Garsington Studios. The programme pairs Beethoven's Variations in G major on 'See the conqu'ring hero comes' from Handel's Judas Maccabaeus with Mel Bonis's lyrical Cello Sonata in F major and Isserlis's own arrangement of Schumann's Second Violin Sonata. The building opens at 6pm, the concert begins at 7pm, and an optional buffet supper at shared tables is served in the café from around 8pm.
