Helping out at Acomb Community Clothes Swap

GoodGym York volunteers help sort and serve at the monthly Acomb Community Clothes Swap in York.

GoodGym York members assist at the Acomb Community Clothes Swap, a free monthly volunteer-run event where York residents swap unwanted clothes. Helpers sort incoming clothes, put them out on the rails and usually run the cafe. The task is scheduled 10:00–11:30 but the swap runs from 9:30 to 12:00, so participants can join earlier or later and stay as long as they like. The session is open to anyone aged 18 or over.
