Tidying Up Hall After Planet Food Cafe and Food Distribution

GoodGym York volunteers help tidy the hall after Planet Food's weekly community cafe, stacking chairs and tables, recycling boxes and sweeping.

GoodGym York is running a short volunteering task supporting Planet Food York, a zero food waste community that runs a weekly pay-as-you-can cafe at Southlands Community Centre. Volunteers will stack away plastic chairs, take down and stack trestle tables, fold cardboard boxes for recycling, put away noticeboards and a banner, move crates and sweep the floor. The half-hour session involves moving and handling, and Rosie or Jess from Planet Food will give instructions on the day.
