About

An eight-session introduction to ceramics combining hand-building and wheel throwing, with glazing and studio practice.

The course develops skills across pinching, coiling and slab building before introducing wheel throwing, trimming, decoration and glazing. Tuition, clay, glazes and studio equipment are included; firing is charged separately. Students are asked to attend the first two sessions and as many scheduled classes as possible. Taught by Naemi Miyazu in the Leyton Classroom.
