About
Award-winning solo performer Nicholas Collett tells his father's Atlantic Convoys story in a physical theatre piece with soundscape and 1940s music.
Nicholas Collett performs a solo show recounting his father's service on the Atlantic Convoys during the Second World War, a journey from Sheffield to Liverpool, Nova Scotia, Boston and West Africa amid U-Boat threats and treacherous weather. The piece combines physical theatre and storytelling with a dramatic soundscape and 1940s music, as a tribute to those who served and those who were lost. It is presented in association with the Daparian Foundation, which supports veterans and blue light personnel on trauma journeys.
