Historic environment on-site volunteer working day at Brandon Walls Mine

A North Pennines volunteer workday recording historic structures at Brandon Walls Mine.

Volunteers document historic structures at Brandon Walls Mine through structured field recording and targeted photography. The photographs support detailed 3D models and Historic England’s Missing Pieces project. Participants work with trained staff; bring walking boots, weather-appropriate outdoor clothing, a packed lunch, snacks and a drink. Equipment is available, and participants may bring their own.
