Christmas Light Service

A short all-age service of carols, readings and prayers as the Christmas tree is lit outside the Cathedral as darkness falls.

This short service begins inside the Cathedral and moves outside as light fades for carols, readings and prayers to accompany the lighting of the Christmas tree. It is suitable for all ages, and attendees are invited to bring their own battery-operated lantern — no candles, please. No booking is necessary.
