From Darkness to Light: The Advent Procession

A candlelit Advent service in which over 1000 candles gradually illuminate the cathedral, held on three consecutive evenings.

This atmospheric Advent service sees more than 1000 candles progressively lit to illuminate the cathedral's medieval interior, moving from darkness into light. The service is repeated three times over consecutive days, with doors opening an hour before each start. Entry is free with no tickets required, though queue tokens are issued and capacity is limited, so early arrival is advised.
