The North Norfolk Railway marks the end of its main season with a two-day Autumn Steam Gala. Visitors can enjoy unlimited travel behind Furness Railway No 20, described as Britain's oldest steam locomotive, as well as rides behind six historic steam engines from the railway's home fleet. At Holt, the restored Reedham Junction signal box will be open, giving visitors the chance to experience a steam age signalman's role. Full details are published on the railway's own website.
