A family railway weekend with Thomas-hauled shuttle trains between Wansford and Yarwell, plus miniature railway rides, café and play area.
Thomas Branch Line Weekends at Nene Valley Railway offer all-day unlimited travel on Thomas-hauled shuttles between Wansford and Yarwell, passing through the Wansford Tunnel. Visitors can also ride the main train to Peterborough with a Freedom Travel Day Pass, and enjoy the on-train buffet car, miniature railway rides, Wansford Café, gift shop, charity shop and a children's play area with riverside picnic space. The event runs across the weekend of 31 October to 1 November 2026.
