Creative Takeover

A relaxed Friday afternoon sewing and upcycling workshop where participants mend, alter or transform garments from their own wardrobe.

This two-hour workshop, led by Katy Mac, invites people to bring a garment from home and learn how to alter, mend or upcycle it into something they will actually wear. It is aimed at complete beginners as well as those with basic sewing skills or stalled projects, with step-by-step guidance on adapting pieces to suit body shape and personal style. Homemade cakes and refreshments are available to purchase during the session, and the workshops are hosted every other Friday afternoon.
