Imperfect Stitch

A weekly adult textile workshop series with Lisa Gormley exploring hand embroidery, visible mending and mixed media textiles.

Imperfect Stitch is a welcoming textile workshop for adults aged 16 and over, led by textile designer and lecturer Lisa Gormley. Sessions cover hand embroidery stitches, visible mending, fabric collage, appliqué and mixed media techniques using fabric, paper, thread and found materials. The series embraces mindful, imperfect making, with themes ranging from stitched landscapes and botanical stitch to memory cloth and embroidered hoop art. All materials are provided and no experience is needed.
