A beginner crochet workshop with Maddison Overill where participants learn basic stitches and start a granny square blanket.
This two-hour beginner crochet session, hosted by Johnstone Textile Space, is aimed at complete newcomers and anyone who has tried crochet before without success. Tutor Maddison Overill, an art and textiles teacher and crochet pattern designer, guides participants through getting started, the basic stitches and making their first granny square to begin a blanket. Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided.
