Remembrance Day & Book Launch with Sir Anthony Seldon

Worcester College's Act of Remembrance followed by the launch of Many Lives of Various Promise and a talk by historian Sir Anthony Seldon.

The event opens with the College's annual Act of Remembrance outside the Chapel, honouring those who lost their lives in conflict. It then marks the launch of Many Lives of Various Promise, a book of remembrance completing a project begun by Bursar F. J. Lys after World War I. Sir Anthony Seldon gives a talk on the College during WWI, the ties between Fellows and students who served, and the post-war recovery of the Worcester community. Tea and a sandwich lunch follow, with the book available to purchase.
