Ceramics: surface decoration on clay

A six-week evening course explores decorating clay slabs and tiles with slips, underglaze colours, oxides and glaze.

Participants build rolled slabs and tiles, use simple moulds and practise methods such as slip trailing, stencil, graffito and free mark-making. Demonstrations and individual or group work support the six Monday evening sessions at Keeley Street, 4 January to 8 February 2027.
