Autumnfest at Arlington Court
About
A month-long autumn celebration at Arlington Court with a scarecrow trail, harvest displays, family crafts and free guided autumn walks.
Arlington Court marks the season with an animal-themed scarecrow trail through the grounds, created by local schools, community groups and volunteers, running from 10 October to 1 November. Inside the house there is a dressed harvest table and seasonal floral displays, with a colourful display of gourds in the gardens. A Family Fun Day on Friday 30 October offers hands-on crafts such as whittling and marshmallow roasting, and free guided walks on 3, 6 and 18 October teach visitors to identify trees by their leaves, bark and seeds.
