A behind-the-scenes weekend at Swanage Railway with bookable hands-on experiences, museum visits and steam and diesel train travel.
Swanage Railway opens normally closed areas to the public for a weekend of behind-the-scenes discovery. Bookable hands-on experiences include Guard, Diesel Driver, Signal Box and TTI sessions, plus activities at the Purbeck Mining Museum. Visitors can also explore the demonstration Signal Box and Museum at Corfe Castle, learn about railway communications and signalling, and ride behind both steam and diesel traction.
