A one-hour festive steam train ride from Swanage Station with a visit from Father Christmas, gifts for children and Christmas entertainment.
Father Christmas's Yuletide Express is a one-hour return train journey through the Purbeck countryside, departing from Swanage Station which is decorated for Christmas with a giant snow globe for photos and seasonal refreshments. During the ride, a Magic Ticket Collector and Christmas Elves entertain passengers before Father Christmas visits each family at their seat, giving every child a gift plus candy canes and chocolate coins for all. Children can also hang a wish on the Christmas Wishing Tree, and tickets include a Freedom of the Line pass for unlimited travel on other standard services that day.
