Rhapsody for a Rascal

The Cambridge Philharmonic performs Stravinsky, Gershwin and Strauss works including Rhapsody in Blue with pianist Junyan Chen.

The Cambridge Philharmonic, conducted by Harry Sever, presents a programme built around musical tricksters: Stravinsky's Petrushka, Strauss's Don Juan and Till Eulenspiegels lustige Streiche, plus Strauss's Feierlicher Einzug. Pianist Junyan Chen joins for Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue in the first half. The concert runs 90 minutes plus an interval, with Simon Hewitt Jones leading the orchestra.
