Schubert: String Quintet

The Danel Quartet with cellist Petr Prause perform Weinberg's String Quartet No. 7 and Schubert's String Quintet for Cambridge Music Festival.

As part of Cambridge Music Festival, the Danel Quartet return with a programme pairing Weinberg's introspective String Quartet No. 7, coloured by Jewish folk influences, with Schubert's String Quintet, famed for its otherworldly slow movement. Petr Prause joins on cello for the quintet. The concert runs approximately two hours including an interval.
