Halloween Hike: Trigs, Tombs & Gibbet Rock | 12km | Women only

A women-only 10.6 km guided Halloween walk in the Peak District visiting a Bronze Age burial mound, trig point and Gibbet Rock.

A women-only guided circular walk of about 10.6 km with 417 m of ascent through Cressbrook Dale, Wardlow and Litton. The route climbs Wardlow Hay Cop, where a trig point sits atop a Bronze Age burial mound, visits Peter's Stone (Gibbet Rock) with its story of Anthony Lingard, and passes old lead-mining remains. The walk is graded moderate and proceeds at a relaxed, sociable pace.
