This adult calligraphy class at the Pen Museum focuses on Anglo-Saxon pointed miniscule, an 8th-century Insular script with angular curves and triangular serifs, taught in a modernised form. Participants also learn how to use a broad-edged metal dip pen. The class suits both beginners and experienced calligraphers, with some materials provided and further calligraphy products available from the museum shop. Two sessions run on the day, each limited to 12 spaces, and attendees may book either or both.
