Oswestry and Borders

A free community repair cafe where volunteer repairers fix broken items while visitors enjoy tea and coffee.

Volunteer repairers attempt to fix broken or damaged items brought along by the public, free of charge, and can show owners how the repair is done. Typical repairs include basic bicycle maintenance, electrical appliance repair, computing assistance, sewing, ornament repair and woodworking, though most items are considered except microwaves, which are too dangerous. Tea and coffee are available while you wait, and additional volunteer fixers are welcome to come along.
