Chapel Open Morning

A free drop-in open morning to view the recently restored Chapel at Abney Park, including a midday talk on some of the War Dead buried there.

Visitors can drop in any time between 11:00 and 13:00 to see inside the recently restored Chapel at Abney Park. At midday, the Abney Park Trust hosts a talk about some of the War Dead buried and remembered in the cemetery, where 150 Commonwealth War Graves mark the burial places of soldiers, sailors and airmen who lost their lives in the World Wars; the talk highlights a few of their stories. The ground floor of the Chapel is accessible, accessible toilets are available, and no dogs are allowed inside the chapel.
