Maria Włoszczowska leads Royal Northern Sinfonia as director and violinist. The programme features music by Sibelius, Karłowicz, Grieg, Rautavaara, and Kilar, including pieces such as Rakastava, Serenade for Strings, and The Fiddlers. Music by Fredrik Schøyen Sjölin and traditional tunes arranged by the Danish String Quartet also feature.
