Dementia awareness workshop for family and friends

A free workshop for families, friends, informal carers and community volunteers supporting someone living with dementia.

The workshop uses video scenarios and discussion to explore ways to support loved ones, person-centred care, and how museum objects, archives and life stories can support communication. It is for family and friends, informal carers and community volunteers; professional health and social care training is offered separately. The two published workshops run 11am–2:30pm, with registration from 10:30am.
