Shakespeare's Macbeth

Wild Thyme Theatre's three-actor production of Shakespeare's Macbeth performed in the historic rooms of St Nicholas Priory, Exeter.

A Lightbear Lane and Wild Thyme Production presents a new version of Shakespeare's Macbeth with a cast of three actors moving between courtly, soldierly and other-worldly characters. The intimate staging uses the ancient rooms of St Nicholas Priory, a building older than the play itself, as the audience follows the blood-stained path to power. Themes of trust, ambition and loyalty are explored in this two-hour performance, which forms part of the South West Shakespeare Festival and builds on the company's earlier productions of Measure for Measure, Titus Andronicus and The Merchant of Venice. Doors open at 6:45pm for a 7:30pm start.
