About

A two-hour guided walking tour exploring how the Reformation affected St Nicholas Priory, St Olave's church and Exeter Cathedral.

This guided tour examines the impact of the English Reformation on three Exeter churches: St Nicholas Priory, St Olave's church and Exeter Cathedral. While Exeter's churches were damaged and changed but adapted to Protestantism, the small Benedictine priory of St Nicholas was largely destroyed and ceased to be a religious building. The tour lasts up to two hours, begins at St Nicholas Priory and involves ten-minute walks between the churches.
