Chris Bannister performs The Music of John Denver

Singer-songwriter Chris Bannister performs a tribute show of John Denver's music at Lowther Pavilion.

Chris Bannister brings his tribute to John Denver back to Lowther Pavilion after sell-out shows in 2025 and 2026. Rather than imitating Denver's stage persona, Bannister performs the hits in his own style, including 'Annie's Song', 'Take Me Home, Country Roads' and 'Leaving on a Jet Plane'. He has performed the show worldwide, including eight appearances at the Aspen In October festival in the USA, often alongside members of Denver's band. The show runs approximately 2 hours 10 minutes and is suitable for all ages.
