Lucine Musaelian & The Khio Trio (Music from Armenia)

Armenian vocalist and viola da gamba player Lucine Musaelian joins Khio Trio musicians Fred Thomas and Oliver Dover for a set of traditional and contemporary Armenian music.

The ensemble combines voice, viola da gamba, vielle, piano, drums, kaval and clarinet. Its programme brings songs of love and exile together with traditional dance music and reworked Armenian chants.
