Sudanese vocalist Amira Kheir leads a Nubian jazz performance with oud and percussion from Nadir Ramzy, guitar by Ant Law, bass by Michele Montolli and drums by Leandro Mancini.
Kheir’s set moves between jazz, soul, rock, desert blues and experimental sounds shaped by Sudanese musical influences. The published band bill names vocals, oud and Sudanese bongos, electric guitar, electric and double bass, and drums.
