Print & Stitch Workshop

A two-hour block printing and hand embroidery workshop on cotton fabric, led by textile artist Geraldine Priest.

Participants block print a design onto cotton fabric, then practise a variety of basic embroidery stitches on a small sample before embellishing their printed piece. The session includes demonstrations and support, with suggestions for finishing and displaying the completed work. A possible follow-up workshop in the New Year to turn the stitched design into a book cover will be discussed. No prior block printing or stitching experience is needed.
