A hands-on six-session course in traditional chair caning, using participants’ own small furniture projects.
This practical course introduces traditional caning and guides participants as they restore a small piece such as a chair seat or stool. Sessions cover preparing and working with cane, caning methods and project planning. The fee includes six classes, tuition, enough cane for a small seat, tool use, project storage and refreshments; larger projects may require extra cane.
