Empty Chairs is an initiative tackling loneliness by creating low-pressure spaces for human connection. A host books a small table at the pub, leaves a few chairs empty and welcomes anyone who wants company to join, with no agenda or expectation to stay. Hosts wear something orange and will be at the table for at least an hour from 7pm; joining is free, with attendees only paying for their own drinks.
