Winter Tree Giveaways

Cornwall Council's free Back Garden Forest giveaway where residents can collect a native tree sapling for the Forest for Cornwall.

Cornwall Council is giving away free tree saplings to residents as part of the Forest for Cornwall, timed for the start of the tree-planting season. Visitors can choose from six native species: dogwood, hazel, crab apple, bird cherry, wayfaring tree and rowan. Each sapling comes with care information, and attendees should bring a bag to carry it home. The giveaways run from November to February at ten locations, with the Liskeard event at the Workshed on 14 November from 10am to 1pm.
