Creative Writing Workshop with Niloo

A free half-term workshop where children aged 8-12 write their own song lyrics with artist and musician Niloo Sharifi.

Artist, writer, musician and filmmaker Niloo Sharifi leads a workshop in which children listen to song lyrics together, use music as inspiration and try writing exercises to create their own song lyrics. The session explores how to put poetry to music and is part of a series of shared reading sessions for children. It runs for 90 minutes and places are free but limited, with booking required.
